Made without compromise. Designed for simplicity, modularity and long-term repairability.
A single CNC-machined aluminium assembly houses the ribbon motor, transformer, and output jack. A deliberately integrated design.
Vertical pin-stripe tracking provides functional alignment of the body, hood and internal assembly, fixing the ribbon position centrally while giving a visual reference for stereo microphone positioning.
Body and hood is SLS printed from PA12 Nylon with shot-peened finish. Chosen for durability, toughness, and precision tolerances to design specifications.
Professionally applied Nextel® Suede coating. A tactile, premium matte finish with a refined, low sheen texture.
A CNC-machined motor mount provides rigidity and longevity. A single, serviceable unit integrates all componants with geometry designed for acoustic efficiency.
A high-performance Saati fabric is bonded to a perforated aluminium mesh screen to protect against dust and light plosives while preserving acoustic transparency.
The ribbon, motor, magnets, and transformer were selected and refined in parallel, each element tuned to complement the others.
The final ribbon was professionally installed and tuned by Stewart Tavener (Xaudia/Extinct Audio), a world renowned ribbon microphone expert.
